Hands-on with iOS 6 - here's what I think!
Hey guys! I managed to update my iPhone to iOS 6 earlier today. (I'll be writing about how you can get it early for yourself shortly, it's ridiculously easy so everybody can do it.) I've gone through it all so I can talk about & show you all what's new & what I think of it all. Please note that I'm using an iPhone 4 so I don't get all of the updates included eg. Siri and 3D maps, but I get the majority of them (definitely enough to talk about!) so let's go!
Let's start with the AppStore. I can't remember the last time Apple's little moneymaker got given a new dress, but looks like today's the day! The store is all new & updated. It looks very swish & modern looking, the main page in particular is a lot more appealing.

New Lily Allen! And Xtina! And... Rihanna? And more!
Long overdue! A post about music.
I've come across some tracks I'd like to share with y'all, and also talk about some music that is upcoming, too. I've recently got a tonne of new albums so I'll be sharing some of the hidden gems in those in a future post.
I've spoken about Pink on here before, her single 'Blow Me (One Last Kiss)' is still one of my favourite songs of the summer so far. I'm mega excited for her album The Truth About Love to come out on September 17th. I heard that one of her tracks had leaked and so I decided to check it out. This is called 'True Love' and is a song about hating somebody so much that you must love them. 'You're the only love I've ever known, but I hate you, I really hate you, so much I think that it must be True Love.' I actually really like it, ha. So as I was enjoying this song, chuckling at how cheerfully miserable the lyrics are, another songstress comes in around the 2:40 mark. It couldn't be... No? She doesn't record music any more? But wait.. No, it sounds just like her!!! Oh my God, she was seen leaving a studio a couple months ago...!! NONE OTHER THAN MS. LILY ALLEN, GUYS! (She's married now, so is actually Lily Rose Cooper.)

You can't ignore it- iPhone 5 is here.
Well. What do you all think of Apples latest & greatest?
I sorta feel bad for Apple. CEO Tim Cook (who is also a fellow homo yaaaay!) said earlier this year that Apple was 'doubling down on secrecy' following multiple devices leaking ahead of Apple's unveiling. Ironically, virtually every single thing about this new iPhone was known before the event went ahead yesterday. I was getting updates via twitter while I was at work last night, (Yeah, that whole 'gay housewife' thing is a bit of a ruse) and couldn't believe that everything I was reading was what had already leaked.
But let's have a look at the features, shall we?

[Update] YouTube for iOS released today!
Hey guys, I've been away for a while, but I'm trying to get back into the swing of blogging again. I've still got those reviews that I talked about coming up, so I promise I haven't given up!
Anyway, those of you that are in the know about what is coming up with Apple & iOS 6 will know that Apple has gotten rid of the default Google Maps and YouTube apps on their iDevices due to some hard feelings between the two companies (and because Apple is coming out with its own mapping solution, which will apparently have some teething problems.) Earlier this morning Google's official YouTube app appeared on the Apple AppStore (free).
